Project Overview
When I joined Cariqa as an external advisor, they were in the process of launching their app on the Google and Apple App Stores. Since they already had a functioning app and a complete development team, my role was to analyze and enhance the user experience both tactically and strategically, taking into consideration both immediate improvements and long-term prospects.
My Role
I helped Cariqa with their communication and product design.
Insufficient charging infrastructure: A lack of widespread and conveniently located charging stations can make it difficult for EV owners to find charging points, exacerbating range anxiety.

Longer charging times: EV charging can take significantly longer than refueling an ICE vehicle, which may cause anxiety, especially when fast-charging options are not available.

Limited driving range: EVs typically have a shorter driving range compared to traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, causing concerns about running out of charge before reaching a destination or charging station.

Inaccurate range estimation: The estimated range provided by EVs can sometimes be inaccurate due to factors like driving conditions, weather, and battery age, leading to uncertainty about the remaining range.

Lack of knowledge and experience: Many EV owners may be unfamiliar with EV technology and have misconceptions about charging, range, and overall capabilities, leading to anxiety.</aside>
Range and charge anxiety explained in 5 points

Once I accustomed myself with the problem space, as I don't drive an EV myself, I conducted an audit of the Cariqa App and suggested improvements at its usability and user experience.
